Description

The VIP Travel Administrator will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of University VIP participation requests, assisting in a coordinated effort of collecting, compiling and interpreting requests to ensure VIP engagement is maximized and focused strategically with current and prospective donors.

The VIP Travel Administrator must possess a high level of sound judgement and confidentiality in the course of work.  The successful candidate will utilize and maintain an established process in monitoring the scheduling of activities to communicate, prioritize, commit and confirm VIP presence and participation in strategic engagement with current and prospective donors locally and nationally.

Additionally, the Administrator will oversee the coordination and provision of itinerary and briefing materials to the VIP, adhering to strict deadlines and logistics

Qualifications

Education/Experience
The job minimally requires: knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired through the first two or three years of college, such as an Associate's degree in a business-related field or in a field which corresponds to the particular department of employment; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; office procedures, or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Desired:

  • Experience in professional higher education fundraising environment

  • Knowledge of the Advance system

  • Confidentiality and sound judgement are crucial to this role.
